Bareback

I think the feeling in this session is one we all should embrace, during what is proving to be a rather chaotic year. Being in nature has been scientifically proven as one of the fastest ways to de–stress, and we can all certainly use more of that! Spend some time outside, having an animal nearby is always a good option, or your favorite human! Just relax, enjoy the sunshine, breathe in the air. You’ll be better for it, friends.

from the photographer: “This shoot happened on a natural whim; a trip up to my sisters with a film camera in my car. I know we’ve all been home during these past few months spending a little extra time with our family than out and about and I for one, have been incredibly grateful. But as a deployed spouse, with two children in my care, I’ve also felt that taking personal time has become all the more important. One of the most relaxing things for me is to grab a rope, and go out in the fields with my sister and ride bareback through Carolina’s tall grassy hills. Her and I both mothers now, made time for ourselves, (while practicing social distancing) with a good bareback ride.”
