They say imitation is the greatest form of flattery, and when art imitates life and (more particularly) love, the mimicry takes on a whole new beauty. Today’s featured nuptials may not be Caleb & Allyson’s wedding day, but they were themselves the inspiration as well as the characters that brought it to life — and it shows in every sweet frame! Their affectionate warmth sets each carefully curated detail alight with a radiance that so lovingly compliments the raw, autumnal wedding set before them. It’s the perfect dance of authenticity and inspiration, a lovely testament to a life well-loved!
A word from Rachel Slauer of Slauer Events and Design:
“This editorial took place on a warm fall day in Georgia. It captures the love and marriage of Caleb and Allyson, two beautiful souls who fell in love at 15 and got married at 22. They’re young, the whole world is before them, and the only thing they know for sure is that they will embark on the journey ahead as one. Their wedding day captures their love for nature, especially in the fall. Allyson has always been drawn to the rich fall colors, and fell in love with Caleb walking among them. They’ve spent many hours hiking through the woods, deep in conversation, stealing kisses amidst the trees.
It only made sense for them to share their wedding day with family and friends at the Wheeler House, a historic home surrounded by trees donning the fall colors she loves. Caleb’s grandmother has always adored Allyson, and offered to gift her the bridal bouquet on her big day. Bold Events created an organic, whimsical, fall bouquet for Allyson to carry down the aisle. It fit right in with the aesthetic of the nature around them. The red ring from Trumpet & Horn further incorporates the fall colors that are so dear to this couple.
From the invitation suite to the birdseed exit, Caleb and Allyson’s day was filled with soft, simple beauty drawn from their love story and the nature in which that story came to be.”
