We love this beautiful ceremony with it’s lovely autumn palette – and the couple here just focused on each other and having a beautiful day which is so important. Everything from the floral details to the beautiful multi tiered wedding cake was thoughtfully arranged and planned, and we love how all the colors came together and fit so perfectly into a chilly autumn day in Michigan.
from the photographer – “This wedding occurred on a beautiful Michigan fall day filled with colorful accents of oranges, yellow and pinks. Angela and Agron share a love for high end details such as Saint Laurent for all of her accessories. You will find the attention to detail in her detail photos all the way to the mindil carried in hand at her reception. Florals and centerpieces were done by the talented Violet Rose Floral. This wedding speaks well for what a Metro Detroit Michigan wedding looks like for the tasteful bride.”
How did you two meet? What were your first impressions of one another?
Agron: At Michigan State welcome week! Isn’t that where all the best couples meet? On a serious note, it was truly love at first sight.
Angela: I always say I’ve felt married to him since the day we met.
Tell us a funny story relating to your wedding day or relationship!
Agron: I always laugh at how when Angela would tell people we were having 400 guests at our wedding they would say “wow, that’s big!”
Angela: Yeah, and when we would say the same to his family they would say how it was nice we were keeping it small and intimate!
Agron: Albanian weddings can be 1000 people sometimes.
Describe a hurdle you had to overcome in your relationship or during your wedding planning.
Angela: We have been engaged since October 2016, but one day, after over 2 years we woke up and said “okay, let’s plan it..and soon”. So, we planned everything in less than 6 months.
Agron: Kind of a self inflicted hurdle but hey, it worked out!
Any special ways you incorporated your family or family history into your wedding day?
Angela: Agron’s culture is very strong so we had plenty of Albanian traditions. Honoring these traditions felt like a gift I could give to his family.
Agron: Angela was a great sport, my family was so impressed.
Angela: My family danced the night away! They loved it!
What part of your wedding day was/is most important to you?
Agron: The reception was a blast but having a traditional Catholic ceremony was very important to us both.
What is the best thing you’ve learned from one another?
Angela: I am amazed at Agron’s patience. I have never heard Agron speak poorly of someone out of frustration. It is something I truly admire and try to adopt in my own life.
Agron: I feel like I have learned more about empathy since being with Angela.
What is your favorite thing about each other?
Angela: Agron is the most respectful and happy person I have ever known. He has the ability to turn around a room and brighten anyone’s day.
Agron: I love how much Angela cares for the ones she is close with. She is always thinking about her family.
What was your favorite part about planning your wedding?
Agron: I think we can both that watching everyone have such a good time means the world to us.
Angela: Hearing people reminisce about the day makes us both so happy.
If you had one piece of advice for other couples, what would it be?
Agron: Share on social media sparingly. Live for each other and not for others. Your partner is your teammate.
Angela: We have always lived our relationship this way and I think it has been really healthy!
What is the most honest thing you can say about love?
Agron: People always say that relationships are challenging but honestly, life itself is challenging and if you allow it, your relationship can make it so much easier.
