There’s a quiet grandeur to Pleasantdale Chateau—one that feels as though it was made for stories rooted in tradition, romance, and enduring love. Margaret and Lewis’s New Jersey wedding unfolded with that very spirit, blending classic elegance with heartfelt celebration in a way that felt both refined and deeply personal.
Their day began with a church ceremony framed by soaring ceilings and reverent stillness, setting the tone for what would become an effortlessly beautiful celebration. As guests gathered later at the chateau, the atmosphere shifted into something warm and jubilant—where history, architecture, and love met in perfect balance. Every detail felt intentional, allowing the grandeur of the venue to shine while keeping the focus on meaningful moments shared with family and friends.
From a lively cocktail hour to a dance floor filled with laughter and connection, Margaret and Lewis created a wedding day that honored both tradition and togetherness. Their celebration is a reminder that timeless weddings aren’t defined by excess, but by presence, partnership, and the joy of being surrounded by the people who matter most.

“Be present—the day moves faster than you can imagine, so take quiet moments to soak it all in together.”

How did you two meet? What were your first impressions of one another?
We met through work as consultants. Though we never worked together directly, we sat next to each other for six months before dating. Shortly after, Lewis switched jobs and moved to Boston. He later proposed in August near a pond in Central Park—at the exact location of one of our early dates.
