A Romantic & Playful Dallas Wedding at The Mason

Sydney and Beaux’s wedding day at The Mason Dallas was the perfect reflection of their love story — classic, romantic, and infused with so much personality. From soft pink florals and feminine details to a lively dance floor filled with friends and family, every moment felt intentional, joy-filled, and uniquely theirs.

Sydney stunned in a gown that balanced timeless elegance with modern romance, while Beaux matched her energy with effortless charm. Their celebration was equal parts meaningful and fun — from honoring family history with heirloom displays, to capping the night off with the most spirited reception and send-off.

This Dallas wedding beautifully wove together faith, laughter, and love, creating a day that truly felt like home for the couple and their guests.

“We wanted every detail to reflect us — sweet, intentional, a little silly, and most of all, honoring God through it all.” – Sydney & Beaux

How did you two meet? What were your first impressions of one another?

We met through friends at college! I remember thinking he was the nicest guy! Beaux says that he knew he wanted to marry me on our first date. We became best friends immediately, and the rest is history!

Tell us a funny story relating to your wedding day or relationship!

I worked front desk at the study abroad office at college and Beaux was a tour guide on campus. He would pass our office while he was giving tours and see me at the front desk. He developed a crush on me, and he says that passing my office every day became the highlight of his day! He had a crush on me for 3 years before he finally worked up the courage to ask for my number from a mutual friend!

Describe a hurdle you had to overcome in your relationship or during your wedding planning.

Wedding planning is never easy! There are always so many things happening and going on. I think a big hurdle was that I always had big ideas of things I wanted to do but never knew how to execute them — or how to make them happen within budget!

Any special ways you incorporated your family or family history into your wedding day?

We displayed my grandmother’s wedding dresses, which was one of my favorite details from our day! We also displayed our parents’, grandparents’, and great-grandparents’ wedding photos and memorabilia.

What part of your wedding day was/is most important to you?

We wanted our wedding day to feel like us. We wanted it to reflect our relationship and personalities in every detail. We wanted it to be sweet, personable, intentional, and most of all, to honor and glorify God. We also wanted it to be fun and silly, really showcasing our personalities. We hoped our guests left feeling like they knew us more deeply because of the details and small touches!

What is the best thing you’ve learned from one another?

I learned how patient Beaux is (I already knew, but it was such a great reminder). Beaux is so crafty and truly brought all my ideas and visions to life! The planning was a team effort between the two of us, and I could not be more thankful that I got to plan and dream up our wedding day with my best friend!

What is your favorite thing about each other?

I love how patient Beaux is. He is the kindest person you will ever meet and doesn’t have a mean bone in his body. He grounds me and always reminds me of what’s important.
Beaux loves how intentional and thoughtful Sydney is. She’s always thinking of others and their needs, and she makes every day so much fun.

What was your favorite part about planning your wedding?

That we got to do it together! It was the best day of our lives, and getting to go through the whole process together was the cherry on top.

If you had one piece of advice for other couples, what would it be?

Just have fun! It’s YOUR day. Let it reflect you and your relationship. Showcase what’s special to you and what has helped shape your relationship. Don’t worry about tradition — do what makes the most sense to you.

What is the most honest thing you can say about love?

It knows you fully and deeply. It’s refining, and it heals. It’s your safe space and your home.
