If we’ve seen nothing else from the talents of Janca Korcek, it’s that she has a magnificent love affair with the wind! She and bride- and groom-to-be Hana & Samo ventured high along the sand dunes on the inland slopes of Europe for a truly lovely little engagement session! As these two sweethearts prepare for their upcoming nuptials—steeped in Slovak tradition and toasted with her winemaker father’s very own vintage—they took some simple moments to celebrate, and quiet sweetness abounded!
From the couple, Hana & Samo:
How did you two meet? What were your first impressions of one another?
Hana: “We were attending the same high school, but were in different grades, so we never talked to each other in 7 years. After graduation we went to a ball. It was a big coincidence, because Samo [hadn’t] planned to be there, neither did I. That ball was the start of our early relationship.”
What is your favorite thing about each other?
Samo: “She really gives herself to people which is really brave for an introvert she is.”
Hana: “He is so good-hearted and kind to people, he is always noticing what others need, sometimes I am even mad at him because of that, but if everyone was this attentive to others world would be better place.”
What was your favorite part about planning your wedding?
“Everything, it was a magical period of our life, but naturally we are looking forward for what’s next.”
What is the most honest thing you can say about love?
Hana: “It is never easy, relationships [are] about constant work and effort from both sides, but at the end of the day, when you realize someone loves you, everything is worth it.”
