We draw our truest inspirations from nature: its every corner and crest is filled with stunning influence, and each manifestation is born of its creator’s unique interpretation. When photographer Justin Douglas and stylist Desert Whim looked over the hushed landscape of the Arizona desert, they were inspired by its extraordinary ambiance as its every surface was gilded in the light of the waning sun. Each textured rock gave way to persistently green vegetation, a lovely dance of hard and soft, dry and lush, and soon the image of a desert bride came into their hearts. The Wildflower AZ provided some truly stunning florals to adorn the rich dusted blue of their Wolf & Irving linens: the perfect scenery for all of The Confetti Studio‘s styled treasures! Their bride, graced in a Madi Lane gown, wandered the raw landscape amongst this talented team’s creations—the perfect inspiration for the bride with simple tastes and a wild heart!

“When you hear of the desert it really can mean so many things to different people, but it speaks the most to me during the golden hours when the sun rises and sets. Desert Whim had an idea to showcase a shoot here in Arizona that would highlight the beauty of what the desert vibes had to offer. With that being said, I wanted to create a shoot that tells a story of how simplicity can equal so much beauty. The color palette and all the rich details really speak to me and I hope you love the images as much as I loved creating them!”
