Wesley & Mishaela’s winter wedding was absolutely elegant surrounded by the beautiful snow covered woods. Lovely winter greenery alongside a bouquet that was designed to fit the winter wedding vision, the focus was simplicity & to be family centered. To honor the bride’s Brazilian heritage, the celebration featured a delicious Brazilian feast. Truly a magical day in the snow with such wonderful highlights of family, heritage & fun!
From their first conversations about marriage, Wesley and Mishaela knew they wanted a very small, intimate wedding. As a young girl, Mishaela had always dreamed of an elegant, white winter wedding, so they built their day around that to make her dreams come true. They kept with colors befitting the season- navy and maroon, with touches of gold and greenery. Their friend’s backyard in Maine ended up as the perfect setting for them to get their intimate winter wedding in a forest covered in a blanket of snow.
After their ceremony in the snowy woods, the party moved inside for dinner. The bride’s father prepared a “churrasco,” a Brazilian feast of meats, accompanied by sides, tropical juices, and frozen desserts, in honor of the bride’s upbringing in northern Brazil. They began the reception celebration with communion, and then feasted their way through the next several hours.
