We adore at-home sessions like this. After all, home is where the family nucleus thrives. It’s the space we’ve dedicated to raising our children, filling our lives with laughter and family time, and where we grow older together.

I understand that a home is not just a house, but it is a place where the family feels happy and safe. A place where early morning snuggles, afternoon dance parties, and bedtime stories happen. For me, I get to step into their world, into their most special and private space, and document them as their most authentic self.
I met the Thaxton family, Cameron, Allie, and baby Elle, in their home in Louisville, Kentucky to do just that. They have created a home that is so comfortable and inviting, I immediately felt so welcomed walking into the session.
The candid lifestyle feel of the session lends itself to a natural and ‘real’ feeling that paired so well with this relaxed family. Not to mention, their home had beautiful light streaming into the windows in the living room and the bedroom. It added a such a magical element to their session.
It was also such a treat to capture baby Elle in this stage of her life. The sound of her sweet giggles filled the house and made the session so much fun! I am so happy that I was able to capture the sweet Thaxton family and document those precious moments.”
