It’s funny how the simplest moments or chance encounters can flourish into so much more, where a quick “hello” becomes a lovely forever without ever really trying. We’ve been so blessed to feature stories boasting beginnings from childhood friendship to awkward elevator conversation and everything in between, and each humble or spectacular start yielded into one all-encompassing, ardently blissful particle of existence: love.
Lindsey & Billy’s beautiful adventure has a sweet start all its own: a seemingly innocent conversation which bloomed into a lifetime of happiness—and to celebrate, this adorably adventuresome escapade with Jeanni Dunagan Photography!

“For their engagement, Lindsey and Bill wanted a casual session to reflect their personality as a couple. Ever the sentimentalists, they chose Mount Tamalpais in Marin County, California for their shoot as a reminder of the time spent together training for a marathon. As avid runners and hikers, many hours were spent together atop Mt. Tam…time spent encouraging each other to get to the top and then enjoying the beautiful vistas once they arrived.”
From the bride-to-be, Lindsey:
“Billy and I met in law school. I had seen him in class, and one day I saw him sitting outside. I walked up to him, and we just started chatting away. A minute or so later, he simply said, ‘I’m Billy.’ I was caught off guard—by his confidence, his timing, his tone—and knew he was someone special.”
Lindsey: “I love how Billy makes me feel. Through his actions, kind words, emotions, and goals, I see how deeply and thoughtfully he makes an effort to add joy to my life. From letting me pick what’s for dinner, to celebrating birthdays and holidays, to planning meaningful (and often surprise) dates, he spoils me. He is constantly aware of what I want or need and provides it to me. I love the way he makes me feel cherished and loved.”
Billy: “Falling in love with Lindsey means that I wake up every morning with a renewed feeling of excitement and possibility. Lindsey and I became best friends during law school and have continued to build on that foundation of trust ever since. I love that Lindsey knows exactly what I’m thinking at all times. I love how thoughtful she is. I know that I can always count on her when I need to, and I am so grateful to her for that. I get to wake up every day and be reminded of just how lucky I will be to call her my wife.”
