Flowers are a special kind of earthly laughter: they gild fields and trees alike in a rolling marvel every spring, and seem in every likeness to bring a certain newness in their wake! And like all things in their cyclical nature, they come and go with seasonality, pass and are reborn again to delight us once more. Though their time is sometimes faint, their presence never lacks wonder, and every blossom plays the part of a soft promise of awakening. It’s a tender dance of loveliness that reminds us to cherish our present goodness, live beautifully in whichever season of life we find ourselves living, and find the richness in time passing to make way for more.
A word from photographer & stylist Brittany Marshall of Blue Rose Photography:
“I wanted to capture the beauty of spring and these gorgeous pink blossom trees before the rain in Seattle washed them all away. The hair and makeup was done by Yessie Libby and the beautiful dress is by Sarah Seven (from The Dress Theory Seattle) and is such a perfect gown for spring. Simple diamond studs and a v-shaped diamond pendant from Greenlake Jewelry accessorized this delicate spring bridal look. We really wanted her to feel wrapped in the pink blooms and used an old wooden ladder to elevate our bride into the trees to get level with the blossoms!”
