Something Blue

Inspired by the tradition of something blue & fashion forward vision this stunning editorial was brought together to create bold yet elegant vignettes. Ornate details paired with distinct posing & the regal feel of Chateau Gütsch leaves you completely captivated, providing inspiration that allows brides to think outside the box – encouraging them to bring imagination & creativity into their wedding day!

The inspiration behind these images comes from beautiful unconventional bridal style meeting tradition. For the location of this shoot I chose Chateau Gütsch in Luzern, a 1590 renovated castle refuge transformed into a hotel sitting on top of the city. The hotel style is based on different hues of blue, conserving the original aesthetic of the location. This was the compass behind the entire fashion concept of the shoot – blue fluffy dress, blue shoes, blue stationery. The pandemic has given us the time to dream beyond what we could imagine. I want to inspire brides to inhibit their fantasies and be bold to be elegant and yet entirely unique, just like their personalities. – Raquel Sandoval Photography
