This Sentimental Chapel ceremony with reception over pool was true to form for Ryan and Trippe. Their union was marked by a ceremony that radiated tradition and sweetness, drawing everyone into the solemn beauty of the moment. As traditional as the ceremony was, the reception that awaited the guests was anything but expected. They were greeted by a scene of contemporary elegance that shouted modern sophistication with every carefully thought-out detail. The reception decor featured acrylic tables and chairs alongside clear glass chargers that shone under the soft twinkle of string lights above – a perfect mimicry of the pool’s reflective waters at the heart of the venue.
How They Met | November 2017: Ryan and Trippe met during the fall of 2017 when Trippe was a senior at Rollins College and Ryan had recently graduated from Florida State. It all started at the Winter Park Racquet Club. Ryan met Trippe for the first time on a Saturday afternoon while he was working at the Racquet Club. They noticed each other when Trippe was prompted to drop off lunch to the table where Ryan and her friend Jacquelyn were sitting. Of course, with his southern hospitality, he asked if anyone needed anything and immediately Ryan asked for the infamous “side of ranch.” Well who knew a side of ranch was just the beginning of their story…
Proposal Story | 7/5/22: It was Ryan’s birthday, we just flew back from a fun 4th of July weekend in DC. We had plans to go out to dinner & celebrate that night, little did Ryan know what the plans really were. Trippe faked that he had to work while Ryan was distracted at work and with family. Once Ryan returned home she was getting ready for dinner when Trippe arrived and set up their sun room for the proposal. He got on one knee and called Ryan into the other room. She was extremely surprised/excited and of course said YES! Trippe then told Ryan they were going to drop off their dog, Ranch (yes it all comes full circle), at her families’ house and surprise everyone with the big news before going to dinner. Once we arrived, Ryan was surprised with family and friends. Such a wonderful night of celebrations!
Wedding Overview: Upon receiving their timeless black and white invitation suite, extending a warm invitation to their loved ones for a celebration of their union at Knowles Chapel followed by a reception at the Winter Park Racquet Club, guests might have anticipated they were in for a classic wedding affair. Ryan and Trippe’s ceremony exuded sweetness and tradition, enveloping attendees in the sanctity of the moment. However, unbeknownst to guests, an unexpected surprise awaited them at the wedding reception.
The wedding reception unfolds with an air of contemporary elegance, where every detail exudes modern sophistication. Acrylic tables and chairs and clear glass chargers gleam in the soft glow of string lights twinkling above, their transparent surfaces mimicking the water from the pool focal point. The sleek lines of the black and gold silverware add a subtle yet refined touch to each place setting. The tables surround the shimmering pool with floating florals illuminated by the gentle flicker of candlelight, creating a mesmerizing tableau of natural beauty and serenity. In the center of it all, the dance floor hovers above the water’s surface, a daring and enchanting feature that beckons guests to sway and twirl beneath the starlit sky. Laughter and music mingle in the air as the celebration unfolds, each moment infused with joy and jubilation.
Meanwhile, Ryan, the bride, makes a stylish entrance in a fun and flirty beaded halter mini dress by Ines Di Santo. Its feathered hem and illusion open back capture the essence of playful exuberance, perfectly complementing the festive atmosphere of the evening. As the night draws to a close, the newlyweds steal away into the darkness, their hearts full and spirits soaring. They embark on their journey together aboard a boat adorned with lush florals, their love illuminated by the soft glow of moonlight, as they sail off into the magic of their wedding night.
