Opulent Wedding at the Biltmore Hotel in Miami

Today we are sharing an opulent wedding at the Biltmore Hotel in Miami. This celebration has the best of both worlds as far as event spaces go. Beautiful natural light shining outdoors for portraits then an indoor space that created a full luxe vibe and was perfect for the reception!

How did you two meet? What were your first impressions of one another? We met in 2013 while we were both working at the clothing store Guess in New York City. We spent a lot of time working together and we both secretly had a crush on each other! We worked together for about 1 year but stayed in contact afterwards. 5 years later Alex had been visiting New York again and had reached out to Renee to catch up. We went to a tiny greek restaurant in the lower east side of Manhattan and we have been together since that night! Tell us a funny story relating to your wedding day or relationship! Like many brides Renee had been watching the weather for their wedding day very closely. Unfortunately rain had been forecasted for that day and it ended up being a tropical storm! They named it tropical storm Alex! Even though there was a ton of rain and our ceremony was forced to be inside it didn’t stop the day from being completely magical. Now we like to think that the rain was even more lucky on our wedding day since it was named Alex. What part of your wedding day was/is most important to you? We both felt that the moment of when Renee walked down the isle was one of the most important and memorable moments of the wedding day. We both were so excited to marry each other and after that moment we were on cloud 9. Truly one of the most memorable moments of our lives. Any special ways you incorporated your family or family history into your wedding day? Our wedding was very special in many ways but we felt so honored to have Alex’s aunt, Yaskary, officiate our wedding. She knows both of us so personally and made the ceremonial very memorable and unique to our relationship. What was your favorite part about planning your wedding? Our favorite part about wedding planning was being able to look forward to such a special day! It was just fun to plan out how we wanted the day to look and it was something we really bonded over.
