Nestled in the heart of Oregon, Chateau De Lis transports guests straight to the French countryside with its sprawling grounds, ornate interiors, and sparkling water features. Designed and developed by owners John & Chauncey Childs, the Chateau is more than a venue — it’s a vision of hospitality and romance, inspiring couples with its blend of timeless architecture and modern luxury.
This editorial, photographed by Christa-Taylor Photography, embraced the Chateau’s old-world charm while leaning into bold, editorial bridal fashion. The primary gown, designed by Stephanie Mai, paid homage to the voluminous 1980s sleeves made iconic by Princess Diana, paired with a couture hat and English silk veil for a regal statement. For the reception look, the bride changed into a playful Claire La Faye tulle gown layered in staggered heights — perfectly designed for dancing the night away. Sparkling Jimmy Choo heels completed the ensemble for a dazzling confetti exit.
Set among lush floral designs, vintage-inspired rentals, and candlelit tablescapes, the editorial captured the grandeur of the Chateau while offering modern couples a fresh take on European romance. With every detail, from leather vow books to couture confections, the design felt both opulent and deeply intentional.
