Which do you prefer: the modern touch or a classic finish? We like to think of “modern” and “classic” as two polar ends of a very long spectrum, but the truth is they can inhabit the very same space and still live beautifully in their own definition. Having a modern aesthetic doesn’t have to mean that its relevance is fleeting; in fact, today’s minimalism and clean taste is, by definition, tomorrow’s classic appeal. So, when your dreaming up your perfect image of what your bridal style looks like, don’t be afraid to mix a few worlds — you might just stumble upon some magic!
A word from photographer, Jason Messing of Juicebeats Photography:
“We’ve dubbed this shoot our minimalist bridal, and we were inspired by a neutral color palette and simplicity. Most styled shoots are much more elaborate, but we wanted to create beautiful images that highlighted our gorgeous model, Eman, a few special details, and some of our favorite things (like our family’s silver tray as a styling board and oversized donuts from the best local shop, Status Dough, for a dessert alternative to traditional wedding cake). With an inexpensive yet elegant silver gown, a pop of color with the blue vase, and tons of natural light against a white backdrop, we hoped to portray that a styled shoot can be less extravagant but perfectly classic and sophisticated.”
