Today we are sharing beautiful low country wedding inspiration in Charleston’s Lowndes Grove. Oysters were weaved into the design of the day & of course Tabasco has to around when oysters are! A bright color palette made this design fun but with some muted colors added in kept it balanced & elegant! It’s always such a joy to see coastal celebrations especially in the low country!
“The main concept of the editorial is centralized around Charleston’s history and love affair with oysters while using the tobasco, lemon, and limes as the key elements of the color palette.” – Kristen Green
“Pertaining to the venue’s history given its resemblance to a plantation: The photographer did extensive research on the property before photographing it because she didn’t want any affiliation with any plantation like venues with ties to slavery. Oprah photographed the cover of her magazine there a few years back and it also served as the home of a freed slave on outerbanks. So hopefully that shows that her research was fully inclusive and the venue was free of any conflict.”
