Stories often end – “and they lived happily ever after”. But what does that happiness come from? It’s not just some fairy tale ending that magically appears from fairy dust. The happiness comes from multiple things: contentment with each other, working on our relationships, and investing in quality time together.
With a little bit of relationship work, we can all have our fairy tale ending, but the way there is often filled with lots of work and caring for each other. We pledge to love each other through the good times and the bad, and there will definitely be some of each thrown our ways.
But, if we promise to love each other ever after, we’ll make it through.
