Love blossomed at Georgia College and State University for Kaitlin and Nick, where a shared involvement in the student ministry and a love for adventure drew them together. Their wedding was a beautiful day in GA being the epitome of outdoor elegance. Framed by the verdant landscape of Hadden Estate then the celebration moved to the Reception Hall, where the striking contrast of black and white on the dance floor, paired with soft blue accents and lush white and green florals, set a chic and inviting scene!
Kaitlin and Nick met in college at Georgia College and State University where they connected through the on-campus student ministry. Their friendship soon grew into a relationship as they bonded over their love of travel, cooking, and outdoor activities like snow skiing and boating.
When Nick decided to propose, he planned a romantic proposal at Ponce City Market in Atlanta. Kaitlin was surprised and immediately said “yes!” It was a magical day for the two of them.
After their engagement, they started planning their dream wedding in Athens, GA. Kaitlin and Nick chose Hadden Estate for their wedding. This charming blueberry farm and vineyard is nestled on twenty-four acres of land, just ten minutes from downtown Athens. Hadden Estate has everything! There is a gorgeous outdoor ceremony space, a lovely pavilion in the case of inclement weather, and a state-of-the-art indoor reception venue.
Their outdoor wedding ceremony was on the Ceremony Green, a lush green lawn. Kaitlin and Nick said their vows as their 150 guests watched with excitement. After sealing their vows with a kiss, they walked back down the aisle as husband and wife as their loved ones cheered.
After the heartfelt ceremony, guests enjoyed mingling outdoors in the Courtyard during the cocktail hour. Later, everyone moved indoors to the Reception Hall, where the classic black and white dance floor beautifully complemented the light blue accents and white and green floral arrangements.
Following a delicious dinner and touching toasts, the couple and their guests hit the dance floor to dance the night away! The band kept the energy high with non-stop hits, and the guests had a blast with foam glow sticks. Kaitlin and Nick ended the celebration with a sparkler send-off surrounded by their loved ones.
