Jennette & Ryan’s wedding was a beautiful autumn day in Pennsylvania. They chose a bold fall color palette that was warm and inviting, along with personalized details such as blankets by the fire for guest, fun facts about them on the cocktail napkins and a signature drink inspired by their sweet adopted pup named Penny!
Jennette and Ryan first met in high school when they were introduced to each other at a football game. They became close friends as they shared the same homeroom and multiple classes together. Their friendship made for a solid foundation for love to grow, but it would be slow and steady. It was their strong friendship that allowed for them to stay in touch as Jennette went off to college at Penn State while Ryan stayed close to home attending Temple. During their junior year of college, when Jennette was coming home for the weekend frequently, they started seeing each other more frequently. Ryan finally asked Jennette out on an official date and later that night asked her to be his girlfriend.
Like so many couples, Jennette and Ryan had to postpone their wedding for a year once the pandemic hit. They filled that time by further soaking in their engagement, purchasing a house and adopting a puppy (who stole the show on their wedding day with a signature drink “The Penny” and appearance after the ceremony). The two wed on a beautiful fall day with a sweet and sentimental church wedding, followed by a reception at Anthony Wayne House.
Forte Florals brought this perfect fall color palette to life with beautiful blooms in pinks, reds and oranges, complemented by the velvet rust bridesmaid dresses. Guests sipped from signature cocktails while enjoying the beautiful weather on the lawn during cocktail hour before heading into the tented reception. They dined and danced and had their choice of wedding cake or snuggling up by the fire and s’mores station.
