True timelessness can be found where age and loveliness meet. It lives out of the realm of trend and instead fights with fearless endurance, and its greatest mark is its ability to live in the now, without ever yielding its truest substance. It’s everlasting, classic beauty, and it’s at the very heart of today’s feature!
A word from stylist, Anna of Anna Fern Weddings:
“When Erika of Erika Brown Photography, and I started planning this shoot, we were inspired by the stunning English countryside. And what best to represent England that the stunning region of Cotswold, with its medieval villages and grand stately homes build in the distinctive yellow limestone. We decided to mix quintessentially English details and modern touches for this ethereal shoot. We both fell in love with the stunning settings of Barnsley House and its beautiful landscaped gardens, a country side hotel and retreat, perfect for an intimate outdoor wedding.
Our bride Ramune wears a floaty and very feminine dress by Sibo Design. The earrings and hair accessories, also by from Sibo Design, perfectly complement the messy up do and natural make by Harriet at Tori Harris Make up Team. Our groom Michael wears a bespoke light gray tweed suit by Alexandra Wood Bespoke Tailoring, coupled with a crisp white shirt and silk gray tie, a stunning tone on tone effect for a modern groom.
I simply love the delicate stationery by Kelsie Malie Calligraphy and her relaxed and modern style of calligraphy. The invitation suite is luxurious, and the menu and place cards perfectly complement our stunning table setting.
Sarah from The Flower Bird provided the amazing florals for this shoot. Her luxurious, however natural floristry style enhances the romantic feel of the images. I wanted the bouquet to be big and wild, and the flowers to take over on the table setting, as if a beautiful meadow had suddenly grown on it. For our table setting we choose white linen by Love Lavish, coupled with hand died dark gray cotton napkins by Kate Cullen and elegant English tableware by Vintage Gold China. One of my favourite elements of this shoot are the brass and glass candlesticks by Vintage Gold China, which I used on the table and on the dessert table as well, to create an element of continuity. The cake table has an element of modern romance, enhanced by the use of the silk table runners by Kate Cullen, which floated in the breeze as well as her hand died silk ribbons tied around the bride’s bouquet. A magnificent cake by The Enchanting Cake Company is the queen of the dessert table, surrounded by gold foil decorated macarons and work of arts miniature cakes.”
