Today’s inspiration is absolutely breathtaking & curated so well! The amount of planning & detail that was put into perfecting this editorial was rewarded by accomplishing the vision that was set before the team of vendors. Below you can read how the designer describes her vision & the efforts given to create this stunning feature.
From the Editorial Designer “Switzerland, the land of lakes and mountains. We always think about Switzerland in Winter, but the summers are wonderful too. Switzerland is still very traditional when it comes to weddings and we wanted to inspire people with this bold colors editorial. I wanted to create a design that would reflect the fresh but un-discerptible feeling of summer glow. Pink, yellow & coral are just a few of the colors we used to bring my vision to life. I love soft colors as well but it tends to be something you see a lot of. I wanted to show that elegance doesn’t need to be white, but that it could also be achieved with bright colors.
Working with Rensche Mari was one of my dreams, she balanced the light and the colors perfectly. Through her lens she captured every detail and was able to create a loving and trusting atmosphere for the models that didn’t know each other before this session. Claire from Atelier Rose Jasmin always understands in a heartbeat what is needed to make the perfect centerpiece. She finds flowers that make everything stand out with elegance. The David Austin roses were the perfect addition to her creations and the colors of all the flowers were in total sync with the design of the shoot. Bucherer Fine Jewelry was an obvious choice for this shoot. Not only they have the utmost beautiful pieces of jewelry but they are also a Swiss based company which makes it even more special. Indeed, it is pretty rare to find such beauties Swiss made! Juliet is my go to person for hair and make-up. She made such a perfect beauty look for our model, it was even better than the inspiration! While designing this shoot, I came across Anne’s work on Instagram and it was love at first sight. She immediately responded yes and created a gorgeous invitation suite and day of material. Anne was inspired by the birth of fruity colors. She wanted to create a piece that had strong, modern and elegant typography to compliment the bold yellow and coral. Ton edges, frosty vellum overlays and lines of thread added a softer organic feel making the perfect set of paper goods for this shoot.”
For the dress, Loukia was looking for something different, upon meeting Silvia she knew she would be the perfect designer to create a dress for the shoot.
From Slyvia “The design of the dress has an emphasis on the body shape, proportions, a clean and smooth silk fabric that the quality speaks for itself. Inspired by the Italian renaissance with a modern twist, I decided to create an off-shoulder wedding gown with a draped corset, voluminous sleeves and a fluid skirt, all in a light and sunny chiffon silk that gives a flowy shape to the silhouette. Ruffles were added to bring romantic details and texture to the couture fabric”
