Cherry Blossom Engagement in Washington, DC

Cherry Blossom Engagement in Washington, DC

The cherry trees in Washington DC are certainly quite the sight to see! There’s not many things that can rival these fluffy, delicate blooms when they are at their peak, and Elaine & Daniel headed there with photographer Asher Gardner to take full advantage of them! In Taiwan tradition, an engagement shoot, or pre-wedding shoot is often done in the full wedding attire to take advantage of dressing up twice for the wedding – thus explaining why Elaine wore her wedding dress for their engagement session. We are thrilled to to be featuring their wedding in a few weeks as well!

from Elaine: “The light pink color (which is my favorite color!) and the fluffy flowers ares so sweet and romantic. I especially like the white architectures as the background around the tidal basin in DC, which gives me the sense of the sublime and resembles the pureness and the faithfulness in our past relationship as well as future marriage. We love traveling, we love trying new things, and the most important is we cherish every second being together and we feel happy if each other feels happy.”
