A beautiful backdrop of cherry blossoms and some sassy and chic styling for this bridal editorial today from one of our White Wren Collaborative members! Yes, it’s summer … but springtime is always a good season to look back on!
from the photographer, LB Photography: “Our small, but mighty team of vendors joyfully collaborated to create this Love In Bloom styled shoot. It was an ode to our couples and vendors who have weathered the storm of uncertainty and angst, after this trying year. We wanted to celebrate the beauty of Spring and all that it represents: new beginnings, feelings of hope, and the pure joy that comes with loving yourself.
We opted to create our magic as a complement to the Cherry Blossoms of Kenwood Neighborhood, which boasts 1,200 Yoshino Cherry Blossom trees and is typically marveled at by the thousands around this time of the year. Due to the current circumstances, we decided to keep our shoot intimate in size, but bountiful in femininity, glam, and fun!
As pearls are known for their natural beauty, we felt that it would be the perfect accessory to carry throughout the shoot. You will notice the pearl detail on her veil, Badgeley Mischka pumps, and beautifully incorporated into her glam details by Arrow Bella Beauty.
Annika of Floriography, married her flawlessly paired asymmetrical bouquet to the hues of pink and champagne of our natural backdrop.
We felt the Bella Villa antique Rosemont Tufted Chair served as the perfect place to lounge in the middle of the Cherry Blossoms. The deep velvety pink contrast created balance in our light and airy foundation.
Our sass was brought to you by Apercu, a sustainable luxury women’s eyewear company, whose “effortless modern chic” Alyssa x Apercu sunny in Rosita made the crowd go wild.
I’d be remiss if I did not acknowledge the patience, flair, and fierce beauty that our model, Cameron Jackson gifted us with. Her sunshine radiated from the inside out, and was a breath of fresh air to all who lay witness to her embracing every second of the shoot.
Be it favored or just plain lucky, the weather was a perfect 75 degrees and sunny on that early April Tuesday at sunset. Kenwood was light in visitors, but those present served as the ultimate hype squad for our wedding team of 6. Residents came out of their homes to wish our bride well, stopped mid-stroll to take a gander, and some even thanked us for choosing that location. Needless to say, we were incredibly grateful that our environment was welcoming.”
