Boho California Sun Maternity Session

Headed into the weekend with this STUNNING boho inspired maternity session on our MIND! We loved that all this session needed was flowers and the water to make it look so magical. From soon to be Mamma: The week had come where I was able to take a test to see if I was pregnant, but I had to practice some patience. My husband is a fire fighter and was called out on a strike team for a wildfire. He was up North fighting fires for about a week during the time I was able to take a test. I wanted to wait for him so long days went by as I waited for him to come home. When he was released he got home at about 8pm and I immediately took a test. Together we turned that little stick over and read the words “pregnant.” It was really such a surreal moment as we found out we were expecting a little baby. We were going to be a mom and dad!

From Soon to be Mamma: My whole life I have been excited for the time to come where I was ready to start a family. I have always been so in awe of pregnancy and the amazing capability women’s bodies have. My husband and I have been together for about 6 years now and married for 3. The first years of marriage it was important to us to have some time to really build our foundation as a husband and wife. Last year we came to a point where we felt like we were ready to open the door to the next chapter of our life together. Making the decision we were ready to start trying to build our family was such a special time for us. We prayed for God to help us add a little blessing into our life.

From the couple: Pregnancy has been such a journey. I am constantly in awe of the work God does in growing a baby. Although there have been hard moments, and uncomfortable symptoms I try to always remind myself it’s all to create a beautiful miracle! As I am nearing the end of my pregnancy we have gotten so excited to meet our baby girl. I can’t wait to see my husband become a daddy, and get to hold and bond with our daughter.

From Soon to be Mamma: Sarah at Mulberry & Moss is the florist we worked with for a wedding as well. It has been so inspiring to watch Sarah grow throughout the years and create the most breathtaking floral arrangements. From Soon to be Mamma: These past 8 months have been such a monumental time in our lives. We have prepared and dreamt about our daughter as she has been growing in my tummy. Taking maternity photos is such a special way to document this journey. I felt as a woman to document the body that has carried and grown our little baby was so empowering. I reached out to some of the amazing team that helped us capture our wedding day to help us capture this next chapter in our lives.
