Anne & Luke’s Lakeside Wedding

Anne and Luke’s lakeside wedding celebration was a beautiful day filled with special and intentional details. Their wedding embraced the idyllic setting that brought them together and honored the cherished memories they created by the lake. Anne’s request for daisy-filled florals and wildflowers spoke volumes about the cherished memories she and Luke shared. As the sun set and the festivities continued under the sailcloth tent they celebrated the beginning of the rest of their life together! Brief Summary of Wedding: Anne Coleman and Luke were married in late Spring by the beautiful Lake Martin in Alabama. Lake Martin is significant to them because they met at a Christian retreat located on the lake. Anne Coleman requested her florals be full of daisies and wildflowers, because Luke would hand pick these flowers by the lake, and leave them in her mailbox when they were dating. The ceremony was in a stunning lakeside open air chapel. Guests could feel the cool lake breeze during the couple’s vows. Anne Coleman’s veil fluttered in the wind during their emotional ceremony.

Guests enjoyed cocktails, food, and dancing under a sailcloth tent. The groom actually had to miss his college graduation ceremony, because it was on the same day as the wedding. So Anne Coleman and the band surprised him by playing the graduation song, and letting him walk across the stage to celebrate his academic accomplishment.

– The bride and groom love the outdoors – and their wedding decor and design reflected an organic / free / and wild type vibe.
– Confetti cannons were shot off during their first dance, and the guests loved it.
– The vibe of the night was romantic and fun. The bride and groom have amazing chemistry, and their portraits prove that.
– The dance party was really fun. Guests did dance circles, back flips, and dance offs.
