Animal Lover’s Engagement Session

If you are an animal lover of ANY sorts, this engagement session is right up your alley!! Ellen and Victor decided that their sweet fur babies of all shapes and size should be included in their love story and we are totally for it! This whole space is a stunning array of light and beautiful scenery. The love that these two share for each other is so evident on their faces and we are all about the uniqueness of this feature! From the Couple: One special way we are incorporating our family is with our cake topper. I knew I wanted a corgi cake topper for my dog but it became more apparent after both our dog and cat got very sick at the beginning of the year. Sadly, we ended up losing our cat. That same weekend we had tickets to a local wedding show and we decided to go to take our minds off of things. There we met a local artist that sculpts your pets and they can be used as cake toppers. They are absolutely adorable and will be the perfect way to incorporate our dog and cat on our wedding day!

From the Photographer: Ellen & Victor had a vision for a fancy farm animal engagement session and boy did we find that! Due to COVID19 and it’s restrictions, we searched for the perfect location in hopes to accomplish the perfect session. Merry Hill Weddings, in Mebane, NC could not have been any more of a perfect fit! We captured Ellen & Victors love story with laughter, beautiful lighting, fancy outfits and farm animals! From Horses to donkeys & peacocks, we had the best time! This engagement session was one for the books and we want you to experience it too! We can’t wait to capture their perfect wedding in Downtown Raleigh at All Saints Chapel this November!

Advice from the Photographer: Don’t get caught up in making everything perfect. The day ultimately is about the two of you. Today more than ever there is the pressure to have the picture perfect wedding, literally. Don’t let social media or things like venue restrictions put pressure on you and take away from your vision, day, and excitement.

From the Couple: The most fun was knowing we had all of our vendors in place. Once the necessary vendors were in place, we could enjoy things like dress shopping, picking our menu, and cake tasting! Delicious cake is a must have for our wedding!
