Set against the sweeping landscape of Northern British Columbia, Amore in Aurora Valley was designed to feel like a transportive European summer — rich with color, texture, and an unmistakable sense of celebration. Inspired by Aurora Valley Venue owner and photographer Tyra’s travels through Europe, this editorial reimagines the romance of Tuscany and Provence through a distinctly Northern lens. From garden-style florals to fruit-laden tablescapes and linen-draped ceremony spaces, every detail invited guests into a world that felt both indulgent and deeply intentional.
Dreamed up collaboratively by Tyra of Tyra E Photography & Film and Alyx of Who’s Got Your Love, the vision was expansive by design. Featuring two real couples, multiple fully styled ceremony and reception spaces, a live wedding painter, a gourmet private chef, live string trio, guest models, and multiple bridal looks, the editorial unfolded less like a photoshoot and more like a celebration already in motion. A vibrant color story of fuchsia, lavender, buttery yellow, and pastel green danced effortlessly against the natural beauty of the BC landscape, grounded by warm neutrals and stone-inspired tones.
Just days before the shoot, a sudden weather shift introduced an unexpected element — one that ultimately elevated the experience. A 50×50 luxury tent arrived as a last-minute addition, framing the florals and tablescapes with an added layer of elegance and underscoring Aurora Valley Venue’s versatility. The result was an editorial that felt alive and emotionally rich, capturing the magic that unfolds when collaboration, creativity, and thoughtful design come together. Amore in Aurora Valley invites couples to imagine a wedding day that is immersive, expressive, and wholly unforgettable.

“Less like a styled shoot and more like a celebration already in full swing — an ode to a European summer in the heart of Northern BC.”
