Amanda & Ryan’s New York Wedding

Amanda & Ryan had a beautifully simple wedding day surrounded by family .. ceremony at the family church, details at her childhood home, and then a celebration into the evening. Check out the ‘tea time’ and ‘tee time’ cutest favors below too! Such a fun and beautiful day for them.

from the team: On a warm, overcast day in Rye, NY, Amanda and Ryan were married in a beautiful wedding ceremony at their family church followed by an intimate al fresco dinner at the Apawamis Club with just their closest family. Amanda got ready with her sister and mother at her childhood home. She wore a textured Rime Arodaky gown and carried a small bouquet of white and greenery with a patch from her father’s work as a Firefighter. Isidore and Augustine designed her wedding invitations, while Mrs. Morgan’s Flower Shop provided the florals. Amanda was escorted to the church in a white, vintage Rolls Royce with her father. Following a traditional ceremony and family portraits at church, the couple’s closest family celebrated the night away outside at a private clubhouse on the grounds of the Apawamis Club. The couple posed for portraits among the grassy dunes as the sun began to set, while their guests enjoyed drinks and music by Maura & Co. during the cocktail hour. The tablescape offered a modern and chic approach to the traditional bridal colors of green and white. She paired gold accents with the antique flatware and chairs against glass elements, like the etched plates and glassware at each place setting. For the place cards, Amanda made acrylic pressed flower name cards with calligraphy written by Lionhead Design. The textured and varied heights of the floral arrangements offered softness to the design, and the glass enclosed candelabras and votive candles provided a romantic ambiance as the evening went on. Rentals were provided by Westside Party & Tent Rental. The simple and sweet wedding cake was designed by Lulu Cake Boutique. Since the reception dinner took place on a golf course, Amanda chose to use a play on words “tee time” for her favors. She assembled packets of Tazo tee for her “tea time” and had golf balls engraved with the couple’s last name for his “tee time”. The evening was filled with emotion, from the enduring parent dances to the heartfelt and humorous speeches from Amanda’s father, her sister (maid of honor), and Ryan’s brother (best man). Truly a night to remember!
