Allstar Vendor team transformed 4 Seasons Rooftop into a French Garden

This allstar vendor team transformed 4 Seasons Rooftop into a French Garden filled with color and elegance, inspired by the enchanting hues of lavender/lilac, soft greens, pinks, blues, and whites. This bride’s design vision was a French contemporary affair, brought to life with celebration of love, creativity, and the beauty of shared dreams coming to life!

From the bride: I knew right away I wanted a wedding with color. My main color was a lavender/lilac and also soft greens, pinks, blues and whites. Having color was important to me.

Design Vision: I would say the vibe was a French contemporary affair. I worked with Edge Design Group and they totally understood my visions. We found inspiration from the Chanel Haute Couture Spring-Summer 2018 Fashion Show at the Grand Palais in Paris, France. It was very French garden vibes and had lattice, which was what we took inspiration from and was the backdrop of the ceremony.

How You Met / Proposal Story: We met in 2017 on New Year’s Eve. My best friend’s boyfriend was best friends with my now husband (Confusing I know). He was living in Tampa at the time but in town for the holiday’s and my friend insisted I had to meet him. We met at the bars to ring in the new year and the next day went to a falcons game. We had only spent 3 days together before he headed back to Tampa, but I knew he was the one and flew out to visit him the week after. The rest is history and we have been together ever since!

Describe Your Wedding Gown + Accessories: I will say when it comes to dress shopping for any event I’ve always known what I liked. My dress was the second dress I tried on and knew it was the one. It was a Monique Lhuillier dress that I got from Mandi Jackson. I knew I wanted sleeves and lace. What was amazing about this dress is that I was able to transform it into 2 dresses. For the ceremony I wore a long sleeve jacket and it truly looked like one dress. For the reception I took the jacket off and it became a strapless dress. Had the best of both worlds. As for shoes I wore custom jimmy choo simple satin pumps with our wedding date engraved. I then changed into custom Nikes to dance the night away in!

Describe Your Bridesmaids Dresses: For my bridesmaids I chose a soft lilac color. I did three different styles but all in the same color. Also for my bridesmaid gifts I gave them all Nike sneakers to change into so we could all dance the night away!

Describe Your Groomsmen / Groom Attire: Kept the boys classic in a tux for wedding day and my husband got a custom made suit for rehearsal dinner.

Describe Your Food & Drink: honestly couldn’t tell you what we had to eat that night. It’s crazy all the details you think of but day of I’m not sure what we ate. We did custom drinks for our welcome party. We have two cats so I knew I wanted them to be included. We had the Fred which was aperol spritz and the Mister which was a greyhound.

Describe Your Cake: I wanted the cake simple and clean but also to be a moment. We did a 5 layer cake with tiny white sugar flowers with gold accents in the middle. For the flavor we did Strawberries and Cream and Triple Chocolate Hazelnut

Describe Your Florals: Florals were one of the most important parts for me when planning the wedding. I knew I wanted a floral hanging above my dance floor, but to be honest, I was nervous it had been too overdone before for weddings. I’m so happy I went with my gut because those florals were the star of the show! We did them hanging and lots of colors. It was very romantic looking which was the goal. I truly had a mix of all kinds of flowers. We did some tall tulips hanging out of vases for some tables in all white and then short colored arrangements on other tables. As for my bouquet I wanted it to be small so when I walked down the aisle the attention was on me and the dress not my flowers.

Describe Your Ceremony and Reception Design: We got married at the four seasons and I knew I didn’t want just a ballroom wedding. They had a terrace that we completely transformed. For the ceremony my backdrop was a custom made structure made from lattice with intertwined greenery. I walked down a white carpet with florals lining the wall. For the receptions you walked into a beautiful clean and romantic garden filled room. The dance floor was a custom lilac color that we based off my save the dates. My favorite part was my floral arrangement hanging over the dance floor.

Special Detail or Memory #1: Inside the ballroom I wanted it to feel cozy and not empty so around the sides of the room we built pergolas and had guests sit under them when we served dinner. I thought it was unique and a way to make a ballroom feel more welcoming

Special Detail or Memory #2: I didn’t show anyone my wedding dress. It was such a fun moment to show my bridesmaids day off and see their reaction. Highly recommend keeping that a secret for your wedding day!

Special Detail or Memory #3: My welcome party was a moment. We rented the penthouse at the Four Seasons and it overlooked the city. Because my wedding was so romantic and girly vibes I wanted my rehearsal to be cool and sexy. I wore red to it which I highly recommend brides changing things up and wear color the night before the wedding! Let the white dress shine day-of. My table was covered in red flowers and candles. My husband is a beer drinker so I  surprised him with a custom beer tap. We painted it red and had a neon sign on it. Was such a fun element to the night.
