Travis & Ashlee’s Wedding

Travis & Ashlee’s Wedding

Under the expansive skies of Texas, between the majestic Chisos Mountains and the winding Rio Grande, Travis and Ashlee celebrated their love in a wedding that perfectly captured their essence—a couple deeply rooted in family values and a shared passion for the great outdoors. Their story began with a simple swipe on Bumble, blooming into a connection so instantaneous that both knew destiny had played its hand on their very first date!

Travis and Ashlee’s wedding day was centered around family. Their connection instantly sparked during a casual Bumble encounter, and they felt their destiny was sealed from their very first date. Mirroring the effortless nature of their own relationship, Travis and Ashlee’s wedding day also embraced a natural ease. They opted for an intimate guest list and leaned into the natural beauty of their surroundings, nestled between the Chisos Mountains and the Rio Grande.

Travis and Ashlee wanted to center their wedding around family and their love for the great outdoors. The Texas affair manifested their dreamy vision of sophisticated neutrals, set to highlight the backdrop of the rugged landscape and the Chisos Mountains. As Travis is an avid golfer, choosing the tranquil setting of Lajitas Golf Resort was par for the course. Handprinted stationery featured custom colorful artwork depicting a map of the region and local flora. On the driving range, a half-moon arrangement of ivory florals graced the lawn, with an unobscured view of the mountain backdrop. With Texas thunderstorms raging nearby, the vendor team had only thirty minutes to pull off the couple’s dream ceremony, but the scenery on the driving range paid off. Joined by their children, the couple released a box of live butterflies, symbolizing new beginnings. Travis had special vows just for the children to add an extra layer of meaning to the ceremony. A stylish reception awaited guests on a grassy hillside, where earth-toned lounge spaces were accented by native palms and desert cacti. Travis and Ashlee showcased a greenery wall and table display adorned with their wedding favors: air plants and succulents. The custom air plant tags read “Let love grow” to symbolize the couple’s growing love for each other and as a family. At the end of the night, Ashlee hopped onto the back of a golf cart with Travis, proudly holding their “just married” sign as they rode off into the night. -Socially Significant Events Planning and Design / Socially Significant Events / https://sociallysignificantevents.com/ / @sosigevents
