This beautiful day has dreamy light which is absolutely mesmerizing! It meshes classic minimalistic details and an intimate wedding experience to fully focus on the most important detail, the joining of two hearts. The scenery at San Juan Capistrano provides the most stunning backdrop to such a sweet & sentimental afternoon. Intimate celebrations hold their own unique atmosphere that is a joy to witness each & every time!
From the planner – This love story begins with a young couple who met and fell in love in highschool. Antonio spent his summers visiting his grandparents in Barcelona and grew up with a passion for architecture and faith sparked by Spain’s historic churches. His dream was to become a professor, teaching architecture at The University of California, Berkeley.
Savannah was a Georgia girl who moved to California due to her father’s job as a pilot for American Airlines. She too was inspired by Spanish culture and loved the opera, aspiring to be a professional singer and song-writer. When it was time to pick a second language in high school, she chose Spanish. Antonio also chose Spanish as he already spoke it fluently and knew he would easily ace the class.
Savannah and Antonio knew of each other, but never really spoke until the first day of Spanish class. The moment the teacher said, “pick a partner to practice with”, the two gravitated toward each other like magnets. Their connection was instant and lasting. As a nod to their shared love of Spanish culture and that fateful day in Spanish class, Antonio would propose at Mission at San Juan Capistrano. They decided it was also the perfect place to celebrate their classic, minimalist wedding focusing on what mattered most, two finally becoming one.
