Alana & Kyle’s Wedding

Alana & Kyle’s wedding was a summer day at a lovely venue called Deep In The Heart Farms. Having a stunning color palette of white, cream, shades of pink and soft yellows, it created a sophisticated and romantic feel for the design of the day. Open fields made for the most perfect views and portrait location. Truly beautiful inspiration for a fun loving couple that wants to incorporate a refined look into their day!

How did you two meet? What were your first impressions of one another? Kyle & I met at Texas A&M University. We were both involved in a student ministry on campus and spent lots of time serving alongside one another. I thought Kyle had the cutest dimples and was very kind. Kyle’s first impression was that I was sweet and beautiful.

Tell us a funny story relating to your wedding day or relationship! On our wedding day, we had not confirmed with our baker which layer of the cake was foam and which was cake therefore Kyle and I had a really hard time cutting a slice. It was pretty rough to watch but we eventually moved to a different tier and finished the task!

Describe a hurdle you had to overcome in your relationship or during your wedding planning. A hurdle we had to overcome was planning a wedding in 3 months! However, it was nothing short of amazing & we are so grateful for everyone that helped celebrate us that day!

Any special ways you incorporated your family or family history into your wedding day? A crowd favorite during our reception was doing the Grand March which incorporated Kyle’s family history into our wedding day.

If you had one piece of advice for other couples, what would it be? One piece of advice for other couples would be to agree & believe you are on the same team, always!

What is the best thing you’ve learned from one another? The best thing I’ve learned from Kyle is how to put on humility everyday. The best thing I’ve learned from Alana is how to show kindness.

What was your favorite part about planning your wedding? Our favorite part about planning our wedding was feeling so supported by our family, friends & vendors throughout the entire process!

What is your favorite thing about each other? Alana’s favorite thing about Kyle is his contagious joy. Kyle’s favorite thing about Alana is that she is very selfless.

What is the most honest thing you can say about love? It is patient, kind, doesn’t boast or envy, it isn’t self-seeking.

What part of your wedding day was/is most important to you? The most important part of our wedding day was the last dance. It was such a special moment to soak in the wonderful celebration and relish in the love & joy we felt.
