ENTRIES ARE CLOSED FOR THE IMAGE CONTEST – FINALISTS TO BE ANNOUNCED SOON! GET YOUR VOTING FINGERS READY!
We are thrilled to announce the 2017 White Wren International Image Contest! In an effort to promote beautiful, simplistic imagery as a source of inspiration for our readers, we are looking for the best of the best images from 2017 to applaud and recognize! Entries open November 15th at 9pm EST, and close on December 13th at 11:59pm EST. The top three finalists in each category will be selected and posted on our website, and then you can recruit people to vote for your image as Image of the Year! The winning image in each category will be chosen by our readers and your fans! The creator of the winning images will be given a complimentary yearly membership in The White Wren Collaborative as well as a special physical award (and of course, bragging rights and promotion on our social media, as well as a special blog feature!)
You can enter as many images as you like in each category, with up to ten total per entry: Weddings, Anniversaries, Engagements, Bridal, and Boudoir. If you want to enter more than ten, you can submit this form, and then come back and send another form with more entries. We will also be selecting our favorite White Wren features of the year for each category as a special ‘Editors Choice’ award – so if you’ve been featured on The White Wren this year you’re automatically entered for that award!
We are thrilled to have Virgil Bunao guest judging the image contest for us this year. Virgil is a long time film photographer based out of the Charleston area, and also the owner of VB Photo Lab, a film developing studio.
To enter the image contest, please choose a form below to submit your images, based on whether you want to enter 1 free entry or more than 1 at a nominal fee. Deadline to submit is December 13th at 11:59pm EST. Finalist voting will be open until January 1, 2018 – winners will be announced January 2, 2018! Images submitted can be film or digital!
