Their wedding advice could basically be summed up in four words: add whimsy wherever you can. 🤍

For Kim + Dan, that meant a celebration at La Joya Dulce filled with the things that make their life together theirs - welcome drinks of Vietnamese coffee and matcha, handmade fortune cookies, a menu inspired by foods they love from around the world, and a full wedding-party rendition of the Shrek in the Swamp Karaoke Dance Party.

But tucked between all that joy were some incredibly meaningful moments, too. Kim secretly learned her vows in Mandarin - Dan’s second language and his parents’ first - and before walking down the aisle, she listened to a recording of her late grandfather telling the story of his nearly 49-year marriage.

It was sentimental. It was wonderfully unserious. And it was completely them.

Lidia + Jason brought timeless romance to the Harvard Club in Boston - crystal chandeliers, white florals, glowing taper candles, and a bridal look that felt effortlessly classic.

Then came the second dress, satin opera gloves, a surprise tattoo station, a packed dance floor, and the kind of celebration that only got better as the night went on.

What happens when you stop planning the wedding yo

What happens when you stop planning the wedding you’re supposed to have - and start planning one that actually feels like you?

For Jackie + Shawn, that meant just 48 guests gathered for an intimate Connecticut celebration inspired by the feeling of an elegant European dinner party.

Jackie wore a vintage Italian couture gown, altered with lace from her mother’s wedding dress. Shawn chose a bespoke deep green tuxedo. Their matching tattoos inspired a custom crest woven throughout the details. And after more than two decades of friendship, even the ceremony was deeply personal - officiated by Jackie’s best friend.

Their advice for other couples might be our favorite part:
“Your wedding shouldn’t be a performance - it should feel like an extension of your relationship.”
